That very much depends on the size of the font you're using to write in them...

A gold plated fucktard award.

What an ignorant, cretinous, twat of a human being - redolent of David Robertson wearing a bow tie.

Every day, the list of people that get on my tits grows a bit longer.

Wondering means tolerating mysteries.
Bullshit. Wondering means trying to learn about what you don't already know. Wondering does not mean staying wilfully ignorant and claiming 'goddidit' because you're too fucking stupid or lazy to investigate it.
Every faith, the dogmatic atheists say, contains a seed of violence and torment, even (or especially) among those who see in their religion a command to love their neighbours, including neighbours as obnoxious as these atheist critics.
Witch trials. Anti-semitism. Anti-birth control. The Inquisition. The doctrine of hell. The crusades. And on. And on. And on.

It's why in several sects you aren't even allowed to mention His name or depict Him - because you may not deign to define him. Science has no tools to deal with this kind of sliding, infinite-regression non-rationality, so it shouldn't even try.
I disagree. The twelve-bore, for example, is a very good tool.

Irate, you're such a bitch!
From the 'A flea we missed' thread:

863. Comment #233483 by David A Robertson -
Irate comes up with another classic. Why is attributing climate change to human greed twisting and lying? And greed and selfishness is a sin. So perhaps Irate can go out and drive his gas guzzler and state its all to do with science, nothing to do with me....
But, of course, I do not drive a gas guzzler and have actively campaigned to have them taxed higher both on a local and national basis.

Baseless assertion, wilfull twisting of my original statement, and Robertson's messiah complex all rolled into one.

DR is, quite simply, a mendacious little cunt.

Carto -

It may be true when he says "Cartomancer - actually I do. If I can't thank God for it. I don't do it." And, yes, this is symptomatic of psychotic delusions. And, yes, ongoing care and treatment would be the only long-term solution.

One to ponder, old chap - my missus was in most respects as Robertson is, only more so. She just substituted DR's rampant homophobia for a voice in her head telling her what to do. However, I don't think anyone's going to put in the monumental effort required to look after Robertson and save him from himself, he's clearly not worth it and beyond help. Tragic, absolutely fucking tragic. What a waste of a lifetime.

I blame the parents myself. [/no joke statement]

I was lucky enough to be brought up surrounded by a huge library of books and to have a thirst for knowledge. Never pushed - just encouraged and supported.

One of my father's favourite sayings was: "If you think education's expensive, just try ignorance".

If the aim is just to get them to grasp evolution - no matter what other drivel they hang on to - option b could be the most effective.

However, if you deal with theists for long enough, you'll realise nothing is guaranteed to be effective in educating them about reality. If someone wants to remain ignorant- no matter how young or old - they'll remain ignorant.

When you have one of the foremost living experts of evolutionary biology standing in front of you, carefully explaining the subject, and you keep insisting he's wrong because of an old book your parents showed you; well, the harsher part of me says, fuck your rotten luck . Let someone else get the benefit of a proper education instead.

Religion poisons everything.

Dear Sir - I am far from great. However, you are making a small mistake:

On topic - Robertson's apologetics re Judas reveal that he is a literalist when he wants to be, and a scholar of christian hermeneutics at other times.
This, quite simply, because he is a loon. Please note - I'm still training my bladder for optimal performance.

As regards the cheque I would only use that as a personal example of answered prayer and would certainly not - and never have - use it as an ultimate proof for God.
So. A miracle and not a lucky coincidence or someone making a chance remark that you were short of cash and someone else dipping their hand in their pocket.

Meanwhile, my friend's 2 year old daughter is blind, deaf, unable to eat and semi-paralysed by the drugs required to stop her almost continuously spasming. And you think someone giving you a few quid is due to some sky-daddy loving you.

If you weren't such a blatant idiot, I'd be forced to call you a cunt. Or is it the other way round? I'll let others here judge that. There's enough evidence to convict you on either charge.

If they want to provide medical treatment they can train as a doctor/nurse/surgeon etc., then be employed in the private/public sector. They they have to play by their employer's rules. If any of us need medical treatment we can choose the public/provate route dependent on our means. Given that we all pay taxes, we should - as indirect employers - expect equal treatment (without irrational predjudice from the employed doctor) from the doctor. If they cannot do this, if they are so flawed and unprofessional they allow their own personal prejudices to allow them - on a whim - to decide not to treat someone that they are paid to treat, they should not be in the profession. Period.

What are you going to do when it's you on the operating table, and the doctor resents the collar you have placed round his neck?
You really do talk a load of bollocks sometimes, you know.
