Comment #41110 by Devolution on May 15, 2007 at 1:54 pm

You know I'm not sure if Liberty U is accredited but I do know that our glorious leader George W, has at least a couple dozen graduates from Liberty law school in his administration.

I wont.

Ding Dong the hypocritical, ignorant, fat f*ck is dead. Luckily I had him in my death pool, thats 26 points Yay me!

What could this mean for the prestigious Liberty University?

54. Why Christopher Hitchens is not Great

Comment #40579 by Devolution on May 14, 2007 at 2:29 pm

Uh Wow, where to begin?

"to assert that Africans are so animal-like in their ability to control themselves that they are incapable of making such choice is racist and violates the most fundamental of humanist's beliefs"

Yes, they are animals and so are you and I. The inability for Christians to realize the innate desire and need for sexual intercourse is mind boggling to me.

And now my favorite quote:

"No where in Christianity does the doctrine, text, or deity call for the cutting off the heads of those who simply disagree."

Haha has this moron read the bible? The Bible may not explicitly call for "cutting of the heads", but a sentence of death is to be your fate for cursing your parents, tempting others with rival gods, working on the sabbath, blah blah.

I'm nominating McCullough for "Biggest Douche in the Universe".

Comment #36256 by Devolution on April 30, 2007 at 4:43 pm

Well it turns out the interstellar travel may not be as far off as we thought. Although this is still completely theoretical, it is an interesting advancement nonetheless. Check out this article

Astronomers really have to start trying coming up with better names for planets. Gliese 581c? It's not a frieken hardware store part number!

57. Evolution Booklet

Comment #35492 by Devolution on April 27, 2007 at 11:20 am

Very cool, simple and easy to understand. Can we please have someone carpet bomb these at every American high school?

58. Iran arrests 300 'insufficiently veiled' women

Comment #35231 by Devolution on April 26, 2007 at 4:19 pm

I remember reading somewhere that the as a result of the Iran/Iraq war that 70% of the population of Iran is under the age of 35. Lets go Iranian Gen X'ers, throw of the veils, start downloading porn, and have lots of drunken anonymous sex like the good lord intended.

59. Jesus 'Love-Bombs' You

Comment #34911 by Devolution on April 25, 2007 at 2:51 pm

No flobear, sorry to say this is 100% real. I see these guys down at the Huntington Beach pier on a weekly basis. They are drones of Ray Comfort from Living Waters and his branch of evolution hating lunatics.

If you want a great example of a Los Angeles based Christian group that follows this cult-like system of conversion, check this out

You will not believe some of the ridiculous things on this site.

61. Potentially habitable planet found

Comment #34881 by Devolution on April 25, 2007 at 1:53 pm

It saddens me that a planet exists out there, possibly full of intelligent life, and none of them have heard the word of Jesus Christ! We must use all available resources to seek this planet out and convert them all to the word of the one true God.

62. Shout your doubt out loud, my fellow unbelievers

Comment #34604 by Devolution on April 24, 2007 at 4:14 pm

Great article. It is so refreshing to see this type of journalism in the US. Even just a few years ago this type of discussion would be unimaginable in the media. Cheers to Matthew, Richard and everyone on this board, your truly doing the Lords work.

Comment #34597 by Devolution on April 24, 2007 at 4:00 pm

Love the Zoolander shouts :) I also agree on the photo, why not use the photo from TGD? Or hell even the cartoon version from South Park is an improvement.

65. Religion useless to Dawkins

Comment #29335 by Devolution on April 2, 2007 at 3:20 pm

That's about the extent of quality journalism I would expect from a So. Florida newspaper. Jesus, what a fluffy piece of crap. I wonder what enlightening literary masterpieces we can expect from Ms. Rife in the future.

66. 'The Evolution of Homer' Intro

67. In the Beginning

Comment #28683 by Devolution on March 30, 2007 at 11:44 am

Ugh, Ken Hamm is a grade A douche. He was featured in an HBO documentary a few months back about religion. He spoke to an entire room filled with children under the age of 12 where he displayed images of humans playing with dinosaurs and other ridiculous fundie progaganda. Hopefully he will stop paying his taxes so he can join his gay lover Ken Hovind in federal prison where he belongs.

68. Peanut Butter, The Atheist's Nightmare!

Comment #28459 by Devolution on March 29, 2007 at 9:10 am

Not sure if anyone knows but the guy on the right is Kirk Cameron from "Growing Pains", a very bad 80's sitcom that was on in the US. He and Ray Comfort have an evangelism website at www.livingwaters.com. These two douchebags have made alot of money off of their ignorant flock (tax free of course).

69. Neil Peart cites The God Delusion in new album's liner notes

Comment #27995 by Devolution on March 27, 2007 at 2:26 pm

It's soo hard to pick my favorite Rush album. I'm much more into the synthy 80's stuff, so it's a tie between Signals, Hold Your Fire, and Power Windows.

70. Neil Peart cites The God Delusion in new album's liner notes

Comment #27969 by Devolution on March 27, 2007 at 1:07 pm

Rush is simply the best Rock band ever. Neil Peart is an unbelievable musician and has written some brilliant social commentary into his lyrics over the past 30 years. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT AGAIN!

Comment #21079 by Devolution on February 7, 2007 at 2:13 pm

scottishgeologist, you have enlightened me! I shall forever renounce my pagan ways and embrace the one true God.

I will do my best to follow his teachings, especially this one....

"Arrrr. To be a good follower of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, ye should drink much rum and surround yerself with as many buxom wenches as possible."

76. Evolution Debate - Pigliucci vs Hovind

Comment #20418 by Devolution on February 2, 2007 at 9:47 am

If there is any justice in this world, a very large inmate is sodomizing Mr. Hovind as we speak. Oh how I would love to be a guard in that jail for just one week.

77. Neil deGrasse Tyson - Death by Black Hole

Comment #20066 by Devolution on January 31, 2007 at 8:23 am

Dr Tyson was on the Daily Show with John Stewart last night and really seemed like a great guy. I've always enjoyed him on NOVA and Origins, so it was great to see him in a more informal setting. I find his passion for science to be a true inspiration.

78. Arguing for Atheism

Comment #19226 by Devolution on January 25, 2007 at 4:29 pm

Shermer's comments surprised me, especially after reading Skeptic magazine for so long and watching his comments on Penn and Tellers "Bullshit" episode about the Bible.

79. Former exec in Irvine says he was fired over religion

Comment #19006 by Devolution on January 24, 2007 at 9:50 am

I live in Orange County, CA and lets just say it's an interesting experience. Although there are many atheists like myself, I have been worked for employers who have encouraged me to attend church and except Jesus into my heart. I usually just go along with it by saying I attend my own church, while I steal office supplies and look for another job.

80. Mr. Deity

The last video is genius! Good to know that even the Lord gets spammed.

81. Wash. school board restricts Gore's global-warming film

Comment #17716 by Devolution on January 15, 2007 at 4:30 pm

Frosty it is obvious that you know nothing about science. Have you even bothered to watch the documentary in question? Most likely you outright dismiss anything that doesn't fall in place with your mythic system. As Duncan mentioned above there are about 12 different ways to date fossils, all of them with a margin of error, but all of them verified across the world through hundreds of different geological strata. Why are you sending your 7 kids to public school anyways? Don't nutjobs like you usually home school your children so that the indoctrination progress can be as effective as possible?

83. The problem with secularism
