More proof that the concept of "sensationalism as a cash cow" is not lost on the Vatican. Who cares about his legitimacy if the crowd still buys the T-shirts. See similar Story. Besides, what's one more crazy saint added to the ever-growing list? It isn't like they were expected to be respectable in the first place; just famous. (Infamous?)

Has anyone Googled George Barna?  This guy seems to be the Torquemada of evangelism.  He's written (among many others) a "How To" book advising churches about useful indoctrination techniques to use on children.  It's just creepy.
