Harris's perspective on the morality of torture is probably taken out of context, or atleast Gorenfeld's conclusions are wrong. Harris doesn't seem to have much knowledge of how practical torture is, especially in "ticking time-bomb" scenarios, it's ridiculous, the real world isn't like 24.

On the paranormal however, I'd have to agree, Harris seems to have bought into it. It's not something I would expect of someone who was recently on the skepticality podcast.

I would like to hear Richard's opinion on this, I have the impression that he wouldn't be impressed with the acceptance of paranormal "research".
