Haggard's explanation for his failing:

When I read this I was thinking: Wow - the Darth Vader of Evangelicals!
And the beauty is: he, just like Anakin Skywalker, can be saved again.
If you truely give yourself into the hands of Jesus everything can be forgiven.
If I would be in his position I would party like its Sodom and Gomorrah before I get down on my knees in order to get back my flock and their cash.
