I could think one thing.

I could think something else.

I could think I haven't studied the evidence closely enough to form an informed opinion

I could think it's not my area of expertise.

But I can be fairly certain it wasn't magic.

But please note - all fossils are transitional fossils.

Edit: In addition to what Steve said in comment #134517 above; May I assume you understand that the earth is, roughly, spherical? If you met a flat earther who ignored all the evidence to the contrary, what would you think of their opinion on the matter? You may now be able to empathise more with us.

I will simply count you as one who actually supports self determination. I will inform the Islamic Republic of Iran that you supported Khomeini and the revolution.
That I support the right of the people of Iran to determine their government, does not of itself, imply that I directly support the government they choose. If I could wave a magic wand and turn the world rational and secular with no need for national borders, I probably would.

We don't go around 'planting flags' and claiming land anymore, by the way.

99. Comment #133475 by al-rawandi -

Do not make the mistake of trying to conflate the views of two Englishmen and (historical) British foreign policy. If you mention Iraq, please note that I am a member of (and have stood for public election as a representative of), the only major British political party that consistently opposed the war from the very start. And no - I do not regard the thug George Galloway and his ragbag Respect Party as a 'major' political party.

As an aside, one of the things that really pisses me off about George W. Bush et al, is their bullshit about wanting to spread democracy (they never give any conditions like 'secular' etc) around the globe and then they whinge like fuck when they don't like the (often fairly predictable) result that it throws up. (I refer specifically to Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank, of course). I support America's right to elect a President if they wish. If he turns out to be a monumental fuckwit, it doesn't mean that I instantly call for international sanctions because I don't like him or his inane policies.

Nothing wrong with that; does she still take an interest in Saint Peter?
Possibly ;) However, she no longer weeps on the floor of these public lunatic asylums, cries because she is so bad or, in fact, believes she hears a voice in her head telling her what to do (even including where to sit on a bus. This, again, is no joke.)

People here may think I'm impolite to theists. For what they did to my only love, I will never, ever, forgive them. They are vultures that prey on the young, impressionable and vulnerable. I will spend the rest of my life undoing the damage they have done.

My choice, when I found what I was dealing with, was to either run away screaming or stay and risk destroying myself. Believe me when I write that - at her worst - she could have given our beloved wooter a good run for his money. I only have one life to give to someone else - I can only save one person from these scum - the rest can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Edit: So when I say fucktard, I mean fucktard, like no one else here can.

Bollocks.

Argentina invaded UK Sovereign territory, without provocation, with British Citizens living on it.

The sovereignty may be in dispute by lawyers, but it was certainly not disputed by the islanders themselves who were invaded and then imprisoned by the Argentinians. Self-determination is an important principle - witness the former Soviet states.

Would that be "Fucktards"?
Correct. And for your bonus points, please identify the following poster:
Darwinism cannot be a religion. We are still trying to pull out the E.T from delusional stage to the fact that it is not a fact. Religion is based on the fact and truth. Holy books are the interpretation of the universe and science is the eyes, sometimes binoculars or microscope of God's creation. Religion says God created the earth and sun as a heater and science finds out how? And sometimes holy books guide the scientists to find the truth as well. Darwin was inspired a couple scientists and their letters not the islands- and wrote evolution book and as I see in the story of Liar Liar analogy no offense Darwin did not know when he wrote many things that were against science since in his time science was at very early beginning. So I would not call him a liar. In fact , if he were a believer he would be a very useful scientist.
and suggest what particular psychiatric disorder the poster suffers from.

It was a hypothesis, that's all.

After all, they seem to exist - if not in a parallel universe - at right-angles to reality. Their statements on anything could, perhaps, be used as an indicator of what is not true, thereby assisting in finding what is. Always look in a different direction to the one they are pointing in...
