He tries to push buttons to get responses (like comparing gay men to child molesters, or atheists to facist bullies), he attempts to emotionally manipulate people with claims that he is being attacked and censored.

Of course I know that my views are offensive to many people on this site - and I know that I express them in a robust way -

the point dawkins makes is that if you believe in such being, then you cannot use "the universe is so complex that it must have a creator" argument, because then you should explain why you don't use the same argument on your supposed creator,

What I am saying is that if evolution is indeed indifferent, if it neither knows nor cares, then it is meaningless to expend our energies in defense of the weak and vulnerable. The "survival of the fittest" theme will always have the last word. Human dignity is of no more importance than the dignity of compost.

Oh, and as for Bishop/Wee Flea trolling to get some juicy quotes, well, isn't that exactly the sort of behavior Jesus would engage in?
Couldn't you just see him doing that?
Trolling message boards, pissing people off, and then quote mining them?
Well, y'know, first some water into wine, and then some healing of the sick, and then the fishes and loaves trick.
Then, after the drunken carousing from all the wine has settled down, some online shenanigans.
Y'know, go onto an atheist board, and be an utter condescending shit to people.
Can't you just see that?
Jesus the internet asshole?
Apparently his fanclub can see that, because they seem to think thats what he expects of his Jesus-kateers.

Maybe she means she's gone from the atheist position, to the anti-theist position.
Y'know, from just plain not believing in Gods, to being flat out grateful their aren't, given the sliminess of their fanclub members.
I personally find that feeling of gratitude and relief strengthening by the second when I suffer through a typical wooter post, or see a child evangelist video.

Well, I think Bishop assuming I haven't faced difficult things in my life, and thus insinuating either my life has been fluffy and meaningless, or that my grandmother's death was peachy, is pretty fucking shitty.
If your code of ethics tells you that's lovely behavior, then I want nothing to do with it.

Y'know something I've noticed?
The ones who are the nicest christians, and the ones who portray christianity in the nicest light...are the ones who don't know much about it.
The ones who've read their bibles cover to cover, and have all these "sophisticated theological arguments", are the ones who spew forth the ugliest, nastiest, most deceitful and illogical reasons for having belief.
And that second group more or less accounts for 97% of the christians I've encountered online.
It's supposed to be this nice, peaceful, lovely way to live, and all I get out of these people is distortion, unreason, smugness, arrogance, passive-aggression, etc, etc.
Yeah, really good advertisement for the faith that lot is.
Ooo, sign me up for some of that shit.
Can I be a finger waving, guilt ridden, masochistic, humanity hating, superstitious, smug, and preening zombie asshole too?

Lol, an image just popped into my head of that scene in Superman 2 of the three villains shooting Superman with their finger rays, and Superman catching them in his palm, struggling a bit, turning red hot for a couple seconds, and then deflecting the beams back, and knocking the villains over.
Except Dawkins is Superman, and D'Souza, Cornwell, and McGrath are the villains.
Oh, and instead of his palm, Dawkins is using the shiny cover of TGD.
