Go to: Norway abolishes state sponsored Church of Norway

Philster61's Avatar Jump to comment 37 by Philster61

There will be a backlash. I work in Norway and I have seen numbers rise in the religious communities over the years. Religion here is more ingrained in people than they imagine. Its just not as virulent as elsewhere. N0rway is also very conservative and very tightly controlled. Sunday shopping is still a no go. And lets not forget that the last Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bøndvik is a Lutheran minister.

I would be curious to see if this will remain in place a I suspect the Government has alternative motives for this and it is not secularism

Its the tricksters way of saying "Just because there is an absence of evidence doesn't mean to say that there's an absence of evidence, Let me distract you with a guided question which will detour you away from this line of questioning please"

I would love to see this reasoning used in a court of law. Could you imagine the response if an accused used that as a line of defense when questioned?

The shroud shows up not long after the Knights Templars are tortured... In the care of a Hughs de Payens no less........ It has already been carbon dated to around this time......

It is likely that the Catholic Church would have used crucifixion as a means of torture.......

Whilst it might not be a fake in terms of the injuries it displays it is by no means the actual burial cloth of a a 1st century eccentric Jewish Rabbi.....

I think it is cloth used after a templar knight was tortured... And the knight was not actually dead, The lactic acids streaming from the stressed body would have been instrumental in leaving the marks......
