Yes, my unbelief that religious wooers should run this country are a threat. My atheism is a threat to NASA and the Space Coast as well. Uh-oh, look out for atheists in Central Florida...one of 'em might just be the nice firefighter that helps you. Hows that for altruism??

So, lemme get this straight ( no pun intended). The religious posters come one here, construct straw man arguments then proceed to tel us that we are forming a religion. I suppose that makes it "easier" for them to attack and try to stuff the momentum and easier for them to try to understand. The religious appearantly cannot grasp that athiests dont need to huddle together in their groups to profess their beliefs. Atheism is ant religious and so equating atheism with any kind of religion is not only an oxymoron, but a misnomer as well.

Eeeeeegad! The woman who they interview towards the end sums up everything that is wrong with Regent. "Finding the truth"? I guess she didn't she still thinks we were founded on a xtian platfrom. And here I thought it was more along the lines of Spartan law, go figure.
To add a bit to what thebigredmachine said, when I lived in Virginia Beach VA (where Regent is located) people just rolled thier eyes everytime someone brought up that "school". The look was "pay absolutley no more attention to anything this person says".

Fedler,
I have that book, and lemme tell you...it's a good one, but the info can be daunting. Tyson is an excellent author. Don't worry, my wife thinks i'm nuts for reading books like that too!

Moreover,
Does a singularity induced Big Bang that opens a new universe happen in our membrane or does it get created in an entirely new membrane?

Eamonn & Fedler
What if Degrasse Tyson is right when he says that there are theories which say that sigularities of black holes lead to "big bangs" that create other unvierses?
Would that not solve the cyclical issue? ie Every black hole creates another universe.
I am just guessing and admit that my uderstanding of the whole issue is fairly nil.

Does anyone remember the Bible verse where god was defeated by wildmen. Or something like that?

The RRS did a good job, but I agree with thier after action review. They missed some really good chances to fracking destroy Cameron and Comfort. Oh well, it was a learning experience. I like the older woman who took Comfort to task for avoiding her question about cancer.

Prof Dawkins,
Thank you for writting such a well thought out reply to the those that would call any of us militant or fundamentalist.
I agree with Pi Guy, you never should have had to write a rebuttal to the origninal article.
