Howdy Freethinkers!

Tickets are available for the 2012, 5th Annual event in Austin, Texas.

Featured guests are Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Jessica Ahlquist, Kathleen Johnson, Elisabeth Cornwell, Matt Dillahunty, Aron Ra, Brother Richard, Darrel Ray, and mucho more.

Helping to sponsor the event is the Austin Center for Inquiry who will provide many of our volunteers.

Friday October 19th, the Richard Dawkins Foundation will have a fundraising dinner separate from the TFC.

We’ll be close to and on downtown Austin’s 6th street to celebrate with each other before, during and after the event.  Expect to meet lots of fellow freethinkers in a laid back, casual festive atmosphere.

Tickets this year have been slashed compared to years past.  Kids ages 0-17 are free.  Student pricing has dropped as well.

This year’s theme is an election year pep rally.  All Texas State Board of Education seats are up for grabs.  All of us who felt embarrassed by what happened the past several years can have an impact on this year’s vote.

It’s also the year the world is supposed to come to an end!  That will be one of our themes for this year.  So come dressed as a zombie if you prefer.

We hope to see y’all there!

  1. How odd, it is indeed strange that no one has apparently commented on such a high profile event?

Any suggestions, as to why that might be the case?
