Through online presentations, in-person and virtual workshops, and a trove of free resources, the Teacher Institute for Evolutionary Science (TIES) gives teachers the tools they need to effectively teach evolution and answer its critics. TIES is kicking off 2021 with its first new webinar of the year tomorrow night.
On Thursday, January 7, at 8 p.m. ET, TIES Director Bertha Vazquez welcomes Lydia Denworth, author of the new book Friendship, for a presentation on the biological, psychological, and evolutionary foundations of life’s fundamental bond. If you can’t tune in live, the entire event will be posted online and made available on the TIES website, where you can also find a wide variety of previous talks and discussions on all things evolution.
