Well, I wouldn’t say that your mind “creates” reality, but your mindset certainly influences how you interpret reality.  If you’re depressed, everything seems bleak and forlorn.  If you have a fantasy-prone imagination, you tend to interpret things that happen to you in terms of paranormal influences.  I also wouldn’t say that thoughts were a form of energy, even negative energy.  None of the things you mention sound like “physical manifestations” at all.  You’re talking about feelings, and feelings are open to interpretation.  There’s another topic elsewhere that talks about a woman who’s supposedly “allergic” to water.  My guess is that what’s going on with her is that she has somehow convinced herself that her water is contaminated in some way, so she actually gets sick when she drinks water.  The fact that she can drink milk and fruit juices which also contain water proves that she’s not literally allergic.  It sounds as if something similar is going on here.
