Bina Sharma is a social entrepreneur with a keen interest in research and development. She is a writer, self-published author, google scholar, and an MBA alumna of the University of New Brunswick, Canada. Bina was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. She left Nepal at the age of 25 and eventually settled in Fredericton, NB, as the first immigrant from Nepal in the Atlantic provinces. Bina was a busy volunteer to her community, as the first Nepali Cuisine Instructor, as the employee of a few non-profit organizations, including the Government of NB, and as one of the founders of the Cultural Centre Inc. in Fredericton. Bina is also one of the Cultural Interpreters, and Policy and Award Reviewers for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the Research Institute (CHEO-RI).
