Citizenschallenge-v.3 replied to the topic Can Nature and God be the same thing? in the forum Humanism 5 years ago
Back to the original question:
CAN NATURE AND GOD BE THE SAME THING?
I read that and wonder how on Earth could they not be the same thing?
Here’s a little thing that popped int0 my head decades ago and that keeps on replaying.
God Is Creation.
Why rob God of God’s Creation by slamming it into a one-dimensional freeze frame.
Of course, it…[Read more]

Of course, I notice you brought up the ‘c’ word, crafty little tease there.
Now that he’s looked it up, probably thinking about the challenge of the conquest – though looking at your moniker, I could already tell you’re one tough hombre. Perhaps, therein lies the challenge.
Sree, let your fantasies run wild.

He could even copy and paste, but you’d have to show him the secret hand shake.
and you forgot to mention he needs to do something with those “links” before they flower into substance.

Citizenschallenge-v.3 replied to the topic Abortion, Right and Wrong, By Rachel Richardson Smith in the forum Humanism 5 years ago
By Rachel Richardson Smith:
… The pro-choice groups do not seem to acknowledge that abortion is not a perfect answer. What goes unsaid is that when a woman has an abortion she loses more than an unwanted pregnancy. Often she loses her self-respect. No woman can forget a pregnancy no matter how it ends.
Why can we not view abortion as one of…

Abortion is not a good thing.
No one says it is. Killing other people in war isn’t a good thing either – oh but how we glorify it.
Sree can you explain
Why a woman doesn’t have sovereignty of her own body?
Why doesn’t a woman have them right to self-determination?
Why doesn’t a woman have any right to self-defense?
This one I don’t…[Read more]

Your physical me is mostly bacterial, did you know that?
W4U, at first when I heard that I was blown away, how can that be. It took, gladly not all to long, to realize germs are much smaller that human cells, so the whole thing seemed less outlandish.
Of course, often the most sensational first reports are the sexiest so get propagated the…[Read more]

Or perhaps you’ll appreciate an analogy : ‘Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?‘
But, then I’m the guy that blames all America for trump’s rise to power and…[Read more]

I’ve not not issue with the “Fibonacci Sequence” and have not difficulty playing it with the physical reality category, since it goes get represented seemingly every where.
It’s this sort of stuff: “the concept of a pre-existing non-deterministic future reality ” etc – I feel way less sanguine about. 🙂

I admit that was poorly worded. I was basically citing Anil Seth ‘s observation that we create our own reality more from the inside out than from the outside in. And for each individual, reality is (slightly) different from another’s perception of their reality. We are all hallucinating our realities. Reality is never exactly what it appears to b…
