    Not sure about what logic we are talking about.

    I’m thinking and talking about the conditions in South America that US imperialism (then as well as today) have created, conditions that are robbing people of landscapes and futures, conditions that are making life so unbearable down there, they need to escape.

    Ever been in a serious choking situation, suddenly one’s sphere of aware, makes everything else but get some air, disappear.  Seems to my humanistic empathetic logic that is what’s happening.

    I’m curious, are you familiar with the concept of “empathy” – when you hear the word what’s it make you think about?
