Yes, we should offer people a chance, but give it only to those who are willing to use it to become contributing members of society.

Of course, Bob is assuming everyone out there is as ‘balanced,’ as healthy, as aware as he believes himself to be.

So of course the homeless, the down trodden, only have themselves to blame, so fuk ’em.

Of course in the real world, bad things happen to good people.  Even worse, a lot of people out there are damaged with brains and bodies that make existence difficult.  The BOBs of the world ignore all that.  Worse that arrogant conceit of “I’m a self-made man”  while conveniently ignoring all the breaks you’ve receive that have nothing to do with your innate qualities.

But that get’s complicated, and the BOBs of the world don’t deal with complicated very well  –  they are sooo good at reducing everything down to their self-serving tunnel visioned expectations.
