Zain – I get that but I’ve been showing some examples of how people think our “progress” is anything but

But, I think the real problem is that people only want to focus on the good our progress provides

so we create every obstacle we can to avoid looking and appreciating and weighting the damages, the good things in our lives inflict on others.

It what lies at the roots of Republican’s schizophrenic scorched earth mentality – all progress is great and better not say no different – or they engage in every f’n ruthless dishonest act they can imagine to avoid looking at the damages and weighting costs benefits.

Christ we can’t even, as a nation, agree that things we build commit us to maintaining them and that maintenance costs money!

One thing leads to another . . .

Hating taxes is nothing but being a freeloader – especially when the nastiest biggest mouths never participate in the democratic processes and institutions that have been created to make sure our tax money is spent properly.  Instead it’s always the conjured What-If story telling and then the malicious political bullshit that is willfully ignorant and designed to keep their sheople oblivious to reality – with disingenuous promises that the media and people always seem fall in line with.

Now we got half the nation thinking it’s okay for foreign interests to manipulate our US elections, hell in fact to create our political leaders, trump being a case in point.
