W4U (others),  There’s a big tendency to take quantum effects and try to unfairly extrapolate those subatomic effects onto the macro world.

It’s the foundation for a lot of woo.

My understanding is that things simply don’t not work.

I haven’t kept up on physics since those early days when I spent a lot of time meditating on books,  yet I never have comprehended the mathematical language to begin with.  For me reading about physicists and their journey to discovering the mathematics of physics, and then the explanation of those physics has always translated into feelings, as I followed along with the mind experiments and explanations.  Just to give my background.

Can you explain what’s meant when they speak of a “quantum universe”?

How are (or would be) quantum effects reflected in the macro world or the greater gravitational universe?
