I agree and qualify my original question as applying “after a person has died”.

I was referring our soul and after death.

After “I” die “I” may not have anymore relationship with my soul (as in, getting stuck in heaven having to sing praises for the rest of eternity, talk about a vision of living hell.  Or coming down to haunt or save people.) – I was meaning the part of my soul that’s left behind within others, whom we touched during our lives.

and such.

I’m familiar with the video and have watched (and enjoyed) it a couple or more times over past years.  Although might have to watch it again see if I can find what you mean with this: “it occurs to me that Pi and Phi are mathematical equivalents to souls in biological systems” –

interesting thought, “mathematical equivalents to souls”.  Never occurred to me before, I’m sure I’ll be chewing on that one for a while.
