    The dickish have taken over,

    Taken over what? Taken over the fuedal system of Europe and dismantled it? Taken over the English Empire and deposed all their monarchs that were installed by one family? That was democratic rule driven by enlightened minds.

    There have been a few moments in history when the power of the people has seemed to have “taken over”, but mostly it’s a constant struggle just to assert the right to live peaceably.
