Genus; The best discovery of atheism, one thing people worry about, I didn’t lose that sense of “my life is being called to something beyond itself”. I can’t explain it, can’t name it, don’t have a rational explanation it. I don’t even need to call it an “unseen reality”. It just is. I don’t care what others say about how I can’t prove it. Nobody says that though, because I don’t try to tell anyone that it’s something they should seek, or something evolution gave me, or that I’m evolved in some way. I also don’t need to tell anyone that something is “beyond their ken of understanding”. I’m pretty sure others have similar experiences, as you have just confirmed. The next step, to me, is sitting down and finding out where we can go together.
