Mriana – Who said it doesn’t start early in a secular household?

Of course, moral can be taught in a secular household. We see how that works with religions being taught at home too.

Lausten – A moral society would educate its children. … respecting everyone at whatever level they are, respecting their physical space, accomodating their differences, on and on.

I have gone to 32 schools. I can tell you teaching morals is an art that schools don’t have. The closest they come is with sports. But that got screwed up by the regulations. The schools today use a management system that are controlled by computer programs. Activities are digitally monitored.

I guess the point being is that teaching morals needs to deal with the human traits. Isn’t that what makes moral endeavors work with religion?
