That seems a well worded straightforward question, don’t think it needs any tweaking.
Getting a constructive answer out of it, is another matter.
Good point. There was really nothing open-ended about the post leaving much for outside input.
What are you wanting? To shred, destroy attack and humiliate someone?
Yeah, I figured this was a bit much. I was being absurd knowing full well that people might take it seriously.
Are you aware that some people learn to question themselves and their beliefs from early on in their lives.
This by no means was me, but I respect those who have done it.
In fact, I always thought self skepticism was a way of life for most scientifically minded people. We grown up asking questions, searching for evidence and arriving at answers, and then improving on those answers with further questions born out of new insights.
As much as we disagree, I couldn’t agree with you more here. Schools should teach more about critical thinking, and how to be scientifically minded so that kids can grow up to be discerning adults who easily recognize facts, from opinion. Media articles both left and right are more divisive than ever creating highly misleading, inflammatory NEWS just so people click on their websites. If the world were to burn, the media would have a field day. Teach kids how not to get manipulated by these things, and we won’t end up with a tribalistic society, but as it stands, I think we’re on a downward spiral.
