Next you will be arguing that if the various parts to your computer are left to themselves for billions of years, at some point, the computer parts will hook up in just the right places, and a working computer that was “individually unlikely” to be the result will “occur eventually.”

Is that what you expect those reading this thread to believe?

I have low expectations for what certain members on this thread will read, understand, and come to believe.

A computer of a kind did assemble by natural causes over billions of years.  It is called “The Brain”.

The brain is a sort of computer that has an identifiable pathway to be assembled by natural processes.  A modern electronic computer does not.  That is the difference, the structure of the sort of assembly in question.

A beautiful natural crystal has an identifiable pathway to arise absent any intelligent design.  The jewelry humans make from such crystals does not have such an identifiable unguided assembly pathway.  That is how we know the watch on the beach was intelligently designed, not by complexity, but by the lack of a plausible sequence of natural events that could result in such a structure.

A self replicating molecule is just that, a molecule.  Vast numbers of different sorts of molecules arise solely by unguided natural processes.  Some molecules occur in nature very rarely, but they can and do occur on rare occasions.  The self replicating molecule can then lead to more complex structures and a cell all with a plausible unguided natural assembly pathway.
