Saying “something” is possible is rather different from saying “literally anything” – Why are you implying they are the same thing?

I am not implying any such thing.  I am just accurately stating what Carrier has said in various posts he has written.  He has written many hundreds, probably thousands, of words on this subject.  He puts various aspects of his “argument” in various ways at various times over the years.

His basic contention is that something can pop out of a philosophical nothing by no cause because there is nothing in nothing to prevent it. When he wants to emphasize his point he expands on what that something could be, namely, literally anything.
