Take out that “manifesto” sentence, altogether. Replace it with “My personal mission statement is “____________________.” Make your mission statement short and accurate, like Coca Cola’s which is “Beat Pepsi”. Maybe “To confront the deceit of the climate change denial industry.” or something more accurate to you, maybe even more s…[Read more]

Mriana, you seem, to me, to be going a bit easy on the racist, sexist, xenophobic, egotistical, hypocritical, bigot, criminal dotard. I mean really. He’s much worse than just that.

Trolls are probably not the best social source to consider in terms of one’s self esteem.
Now stop fishing for compliments and continue with what you do so well – confronting the world of liars and the mislead with your entertaining and sound information and opinions.

I suspect, but do not know, that women and men are roughly equal on the scale of logic v. illogic. On these forums, the regular participating members seem to be good on the logical side of the scale. But the % of women who participate regularly is relatively small. I also suspect that the often adversarial nature of the discourse is not…[Read more]

Tee, If I were somewhat younger I might use that picture for personal reasons in private. But in the me-too age I should probably keep such info to myself.

TimB replied to the topic Is an Impeachment Inquiry the same as a lynching? in the forum Politics and Social Issues 5 years, 3 months ago
In the T rump (and Bill Bahr) administration, the process of investigating possible crimes is as such:
First, Trump decides on what wrong doings that he wants to be true about his adversaries. (Typically, this is developed by T rump projecting some thing bad that he does onto them. And by finding previously obscure unfounded malicious c…[Read more]

This is a clever way to show that T rump’s popularity among his supporters is not clearly a factor of principles. (But then T rump is not a person of principles).
Also, is that supposed to depict you, vomiting in T rump’s face, while God is tickling your tummy? I am jealous. I want a cartoon character depiction of me defiling T rump while…[Read more]

“By this sign you will recognize that a doctrine is good, because every doctrine which has the consequence of sowing disunity and establishing a demarcation among the children of God, can only be false and pernicious.”
Dude, that statement is, in itself, DOGMA, presented in religious language. Which seems to counter your immediately previous…[Read more]

CC: It seems to me that you are going out of your way to fit your concept of “Mindscape” into whatever this Penrose mess is. I don’t think you need his useless paradigm to make the valid points you make about “Mindscapes” such as, “Science, religions, heaven, hell, political beliefs, even God, they are all products of the human mindscape,…[Read more]

Thank you Widdershins for that analysis. It sounds like the argument I would have made if I had had the interest and energy to do so. (3 realms of reality – hogwash)

I think I have told u this before, but I will try again. What we call mind does exist. Even if it is an appearance to us that it exists. That is not nothing. Also the physical (and existing) neurological correlates of recognizing our own mind, exist.
You say that our body and the entire physical world are created by our mind… No. Our mind…[Read more]
