The hypothesized consciousness pool that our brains supposedly tap into, are, I suppose, only connectable to by a human brain?  Or do other conscious animals tap into that pool, also?

If this idea of an amorphous-seeming universal consciousness pool is correct, I assume that we don’t have to worry about AI machines ever becoming conscious, as they would be constructed completely differently from our brain and would thus probably not have the precise mechanism for tuning in.
